In conversation with our Live Luxury series, Rebecca shares the small moments, places and routines that bring her joy.
in the midst of a busy life, what is your favourite moment of the day, and what makes it so meaningful?
Breakfast before work with my son. We are morning people in our house – I love looking forward to the day, and I feel most energised at this time.
is there a daily ritual you return to that helps you feel calm or centred?
The calm of a morning shower!
what is a scent that instantly transports you to another time or place?
The smell of a log fire – comforting and nostalgic!
do you have a favourite flower and what draws you to them?
Sweet peas. They feel poetic and have the most amazing smell.
Which season resonates with you most, and what is it about that time of year that you look forward to?
Spring always has a special feeling about it. It’s the start of new beginnings and the lighter mornings are always incredibly uplifting.
do you have a place that brings you peace?
Anywhere by the sea, especially at dusk. The light, calm and sounds are incredibly relaxing and remind me of where I grew up.
is there a space in your home that you especially love?
My bedroom. It’s restorative and calm.
What is the luxury in your life that feels entirely non-negotiable?
Without a doubt, beautiful bed linen. Every time I come back from a trip or holiday I am glad to get back into my own bed! It’s a blessing and a curse.
What feels most precious to you at this stage of your life?
Ensuring to spend quality time with my family every day. My husband & I both run businesses and we both prioritise time together daily – you can very easily get caught up in all sorts of things.
what does a comfort meal look like for you?
I think slow cooked meats are underrated… They are so simple to reheat, easy to cook (as long as you plan ahead). Slow cooked lamb with lots of middle eastern flavours is a favourite!
Is there a grove england product you return to again and again?
The body wash is incredibly uplifting in your morning shower, but I also adore the bath oil for an evening soak.
is there something nostalgic that always lifts your mood?
That first moment of getting fresh air in the morning.
