Walking through the woods in February, the cold earth beginning to soften, pale light returning, the air feeling clean and calm. A moment of beauty and of hope - delicate Snowdrops peeping through the moss.

Have you ever wondered what that moment should smell like?

I wanted our Snowdrop fragrance to capture that moment. It was my inspiration for creating this unique and uplifting scent.

Fresh and airy, the fragrance unfolds quietly beginning that feels almost translucent and luminous, before unfolding into green freshness, settling into something warmer and comforting - a scent you return over and over again and each time you do, it offers something new.

It is the scent of late winter light, cold earth thawing, the air clean and fresh. Like the flower itself, Snowdrop isnโ€™t about show, itโ€™s about hope and the quiet promise of new beginnings. It is a flower that deserves a beautiful scent to match its quiet beauty.

From Bud to Bulb: The Creation of Snowdropย 

For the Snowdrop fragrance, we looked to the flower itself, as well as the seasonal moment it represents; the piercing spears of green, tight white buds that unfurl into delicate emerald studded bells and deeply rooted, steadfast bulb. It strikes the balance between strength and beauty, bringing hope from the depths of winter.

TOP NOTES
Chamomile, Violet, Hinoki, and Frankincense create a luminous opening.
Fresh, gently aromatic, and quietly joyful, setting a sense of openness and clarity.

MIDDLE NOTES
Linden, Magnolia Leaf and Magnolia Flower form the heart of the fragrance. Soft and floral yet green and natural, expressing light, love, and the feeling of a new beginning.

BASE NOTES
Sandalwood and Spikenard bring depth and warmth to the base, imparting serenity and a sense of purification, wisdom, and quiet intention.

Scent Architecture

The Legend of Snowdrop

Each spring, Persephone, goddess of spring, rises from the shadows, bringing snowdrops whose ivory petals are a symbol of hope and renewal.

Legend has it, that Persephone was taken by Hades and drawn into the underworld, winter fell upon the land. In grief, her mother Demeter, goddess of the harvest, let the fields grow barren until the gods intervened. A compromise was made: Persephone would return each spring.

And with her return, life would begin again. Snowdrop is inspired by this moment of emergence.

Delicate yet luminous, it reflects the space between shadow and light - delicate yet assured. Like the flower itself, the fragrance does not demand attention; it quietly enhances the beauty surrounding it.
